“Stor Bil, Liten Dame” is Lysgaard’s follow-up from last year’s “Assemble EP” that sold out on Juno in less than a day. The bridge between Norway and Detroit seems evident here, with heaps of classic Paradise Garage-era New York house vibes in the chorus, mic shoutouts and all.
Lysgaard cut his teeth Djing in small clubs all across Norway for a decade, and this track sounds like a distillation of a thousand sweaty basements in the best of ways.
